For if someone comes to you and preaches

a Jesus other than the Jesus

we preached…you put

up with it easily enough.”

- 2 Corinthians 11:3-4

Have you created

your ideal, IDOL Jesus?

Does the image you have of Jesus Christ match the image of Jesus Christ in the Bible,
or the “Jesus” of other deceived men who claim, “He is the One”?

“Many will come in my name,

claiming ‘I am he,’ and

will deceive many.”

“But, I am afraid that just as Eve was DECEIVED by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus OTHER THAN the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.”  - 2 Corinthians 11:3-4

You believe in Jesus

and that you are saved by faith, but what if

the “faith” you have and the “Jesus” you believe in

are counterfeits?

a Very Good

Counterfeiter

Turned Me into a Fool

“Many Different Jesus’, Different “gospels”, Different “spirits”!

The Bible gives us a dire warning that among believers in Jesus Christ and teachers speaking in His name, there are many different “gospels“, many different “Jesus”, many different “spirits”, and many different “faiths” (Mar 13:6, 2 Cor 11:3-4).

As a result, the apostle Paul commanded that we should “examine our faith” to see if we are in possession of the one and only true and saving faith, or if we have likely, especially in this day, received a counterfeit which will lead us into a dreadful shock when we are suddenly taken from this life and appear before the Judgment Seat of Jesus Christ?

"Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to. - Luke 13:24

Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you---unless, of course, you fail the test? - 2 Corinthians 13:5

Can you see why Jesus warned us so clearly by saying:

“Not everyone who says to me ‘Lord, Lord’ [they believed in Jesus] will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ Mat 7:21-23

All of these people “believed” in a counterfeit Jesus.  They never knew the real Jesus and He never knew them.  They all believed and had “faith”, but it was not the precious faith which Peter identified with the true believers in 2 Pet 1:1.

The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son….But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless. “Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ - Mat 22:2, 11-13

They Claim to Know God, But by Their Actions, They Deny Him

A heartbreaking look at how a young woman, Taylor Noelle (Meitzner), on YouTube channel BroadcastingHislove, once passionate for Christ, fell prey to Satan's spiritual deception and created a video, title "Why I Stopped Following Michael Chriswell" falsely accusing him of being a manipulative, false teacher and dangerous cult leader. This video, looks at current videos of Taylor's life, and shows the devastating consequences of slander, the importance of discernment, and the tragic reality of spiritual death. It serves as a powerful warning to all believers to remain steadfast in Christ and to "test the spirits" (1 John 4:1).
